In your first session, your therapist will take some time to get to know you and understand what’s been going on that brought you to counseling. It’s a chance for us to hear your story and figure out how we can best support you. You’ll also have plenty of space to ask any questions about how counseling works—this is your time, and we want you to feel comfortable and heard!
A counseling session with typically lasts for 55 minutes, although session length may vary depending on your specific needs and preferences.
